about

A pair of waltzes - Mae'r Flwyddyn yn Marw (The Year is Dying) is from a New Years carol of that name, though we repeat both parts which is not in the original song. It appears in Nicholas Bennett's `Alawon Fy Ngwlad', 1896, as `Nadolig' (Christmas).
The second tune is a hymn tune `Dyma Gariad fel y Moroedd' (Here is Love like the Oceans) which is from John's days in Pibau Pencader, introduced to the group by Ceri Rhys Matthews.
