about

Hyd y Frwynen (The Magic of the Reed, or The Length of the Rush) is the tune used for one of the traditional Nantgarw dances. It is basically the same as the early English tune `Dove's Figary'. We follow it with a Breton tune we learned one night during a session in Tafarn Sinc, Rosebush, from uilleann piper Eifion Jenkins.
